CHRISTMAS AT EMBASSY
In the Bible, Matthew begins his gospel with a beginning — a genealogy telling us who Jesus is, starting with where He comes from. This list is often skimmed over by the modern reader, but the ancient reader would have analyzed it intently. This is because genealogies were the résumés of the ancient world that provided credibility to a person's claim to be someone. For Matthew, Jesus wasn’t just anyone, he was THE someone that everyone had been waiting for throughout the Scriptures. So this year, as we wait for Christmas to come, we’ll spend Sundays in December looking at the genealogy of Jesus and what it tells us about who He is.

FAQs

Our Sunday gatherings are typically about 1.5 hours long and include music and a message. We also build in time to connect and meet people before and after.
We take communion together about once a month, and we celebrate baptisms with both our college students and our adults about once per semester.
-
We hope you come as you are! Feel like putting on your Sunday best? Go for it. Can’t be bothered to put on more than jeans and a sweatshirt? That’s great, too!

Plenty of parking spaces are available in The Woolery Mill’s main lot at the intersection of Kegg Rd & Sunstone Dr.
If the main lot is full when you arrive, the overflow parking lot is available on the east side of the building off of Sunstone Dr.

Embassy Kids care will not be available on Christmas Eve — expect to have your kids sit with you.
We will provide small goodie bags for kids ages 2-6 to help keep them engaged.
//
On all other Sunday mornings, our Embassy Kids ministry serves children ages 4 months - 12 years old. All other children are welcome to sit with their parent(s) in our main gathering space. If you have kids in middle school and/or high school, you can email our Embassy Youth team.
If it’s your first Sunday, we suggest giving yourself plenty of time to park, check in your child, and drop them off.
You’ll start at the Embassy Kids First Time Check-In kiosk, where you’ll be greeted by one of our EKids Team Leads. They’ll collect some information from you, print security tags for you, then point you to your kids’ space(s) for the morning. You’ll then drop off your child with our EKids volunteers, and head into our main gathering space.
Check-In is available from 9:45-10:15a.
Once you’re ready to pick up your child after our Sunday gathering, you’ll present your security tag to a volunteer, pick up your child, and head home.

While we have a focus on the next generation of college students, Embassy is not simply a college church. We are a multi-generational church that exists to advance the message and ministry of Jesus both in the city and on the campus.
If you’re a college student, check out our college ministry, The Salt Company.
Whether you’re a college student or in your older years, you’re welcome here!
