VISION & VALUES
The Kingdom of Heaven was the one thing Jesus talked about most when he walked this earth.
Jesus talked about the Kingdom of Heaven not just as a future hope but a present reality — a place where people are reconciled to God, broken relationships are restored, and a hurting world is healed.
Simply put, the Kingdom of Heaven is a place where things begin to exist as they were always meant to be — a place where God is King and His will is done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
We as Embassy Church exist to be an outpost of this Kingdom in Bloomington — a people seeking to advance the message and ministry of Jesus.
SHARED VALUES
-
Gospel perspective shades everything we see — from seeing ourselves and others as sinners in need of God’s grace, to seeing the Scriptures as pointing to the person of Jesus Christ who provides it.
-
Family identity causes us to do for one another in God's family what we would naturally do for one another in our immediate family.
-
Sacrificial generosity moves us to give to others because God first gave to us — such that the way we give affects the way we live, not the other way around.
-
Next generation focus leads us to prioritize college students and invest in such a way that we are always passing the Gospel message on to future generations.
-
Ends of the earth ambition drives us to warmly welcome new friends God brings us from all over the world and to willingly send off old friends God calls to go out into the world.
