WHY “FAMILY MEMBERSHIP”?

When we say “membership” we don’t mean to invoke a similar idea to a gym membership. Church membership is not transactional.

Church membership is designed after a Biblical framework of healthy growth and accountability.

Family Membership allows for our elders to better care for & shepherd our flock, and establishes clear commitments for our Family Members.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Anyone looking to become a member and move from friend to family must:

1) be a believer, no longer in college

2) take Intro to Embassy

3) complete an individual Embassy Family Application

4) meet with a staff member to affirm your membership

WHAT DO FAMILY MEMBERS DO?

Our Family Members hold to four shared commitments:

1) Gather regularly: gather on Sunday mornings

2) Live authentically: live out our values of Devoted, Authentic and Ambitious in a group

3) Serve sacrificially: serve on a Sunday Team or City Team

4) Give financially: give to support Embassy’s mission and ministries
