CITY TEAMS

Loving the city of Bloomington

WHAT ARE CITY TEAMS?

Embassy Church exists to advance the message and ministry of Jesus in the city of Bloomington and on the campus of IU. While our ultimate calling as a church is to make disciples, we want to open up consistent, seasonal opportunities to serve our city with the ministry of Jesus.

“City Teams” is our language and vision behind city outreach initiatives to help everyone at Embassy envision and create a better Bloomington — one marked by loving our neighbors.

CITY TEAMS:

Helps Team: best if you’re handy

  • opportunities to serve the widows of our church through things like lawn care & snow removal

  • opportunities to update our space at The Warehouse

Schools Team: best if you love kids

  • opportunities to volunteer in local schools at their events throughout the year (book fairs, fall fest, etc.)

  • opportunities to volunteer weekly at Arlington Heights Elementary as a sensory room buddy or reading buddy

Foster & Mercy Team: best if you love supporting families

  • opportunities to support foster families through things like meals, lawn care, errands, and prayer

  • opportunities to learn more about fostering children

  • opportunities to ask for support as a current foster family
